Boston Strangler

While not stylistically all that unique, with aims clearly of a David Fincher-like atmosphere, it was technically proficient and OK yes, it looked nice overall. Problem was the entire film, from the leads' stories, to the murders and the fascinating back story that goes with it, was emotionally disconnected from everything and everyone it was portraying, seemingly more focused on checking all the boxes of a historical crime drama. Well done on the latter, but what's that get ya?
