Dashcam

As a fan of Giant Drag since their initial days, it was a real treat to see Ms Hardy showing another side of her unique personality with this acting gig. She is the reason to watch this, a sort of comedy-horror-found footage hybrid, though I can imagine for some she will be a reason for not enjoying this as well. She's an acquired taste, no question, and a funny one at that. 'Dashcam' is well executed, but it feels like a gimmick on top of a gimmick, with obvious band-aids to cover up some glaring boo-boos. For instance, remove the end credits sequence and you could reduce this "80 minute running time" by 1/3. 🤣 Regardless, I was entertained and I can see this having a strong fanbase, so more power to it. Hope to see more of Annie - she only comes out every few years, if we're lucky.
