Great premise. Not exactly unpredictable, but that small blemish is outweighed greatly by Cohen's, ohhhh, what one could perhaps call "elevated cornball"? With dashes of 50s sci-fi?

Like his mid-80s gem 'The Stuff,' Cohen displays such a unique style that I'm still unable to pinpoint a description of how his films FEEL, but that makes me recommend this even more.
