Jexi

Apparently this came out in 2019 ... in theaters no less. Did it receive any ridicule at the time? I didn't hear about it in that sense, or any sense, really. Which is strange, because I should have. We all should have. This movie is beyond ridiculous, and I can't completely put it down because it's a comedy, and it had a few strong, solid laughs! So I stuck with it. And the reward was an overall strange remake of 'Her' of a few years ago, including a scene where the lead has "sex" with his phone by rapidly plugging and unplugging its power cord at the base of the phone. Per "her" request. The problem is (and I understand that sounds hilariously naive), I'm not sure the cast and crew are self-aware enough to see the film's destiny as a constant in a modern day cut-out bin. If those exist anymore, or anyone remembers them. Like this film, probably not.
