Megan

Yeah I don't know. I don't really have strong feelings one way or another about this "killer doll" movie, or however one wants to classify it. It didn't really play up the potential scares. It didn't play up the humor, despite the impression the trailer may have given. The performances from Allison Williams and Violet McGraw were actually quite good and I believed the trauma and PTSD the kid was going through following the death of her parents. The special effects were quite good, although at times it was TOO evident that Megan is not a robot, but instead another young actor. But once all is said and done, there's nothing really memorable here, and with such a (somewhat) outlandish premise and lots going for it on paper, it shouldn't just be memorable, but worthy of discussion. And yet, I'm already bored here talking about it so ....
