Some Girls

An 80s teen sex comedy - but only to an extent. A rather eccentric film, including the setting and filming location of Quebec City which I found to be a welcome change of scenery, it's no surprise really this one got lost in the shuffle. It's unassuming, not very memorable, and a bit perplexing at times, but there's enough peculiarity here that makes it interesting enough. A reminded me a bit of the film adaptation of 'The House of Yes' starring Parker Posey, with the take on rich, eccentric families with lots of time on their hands.

Big kudos to ME though - haha - for sitting through a film featuring Jennifer Connelly as she's one of these actresses that just grinds my gears, and for a reason I've still been able to pinpoint. She's actually fine in this one, so crisis averted.
