There's Something in the Barn

Nah, I think I'm good.

While fun, it felt like the creative team didn’t know how to blur the lines better, between this being an inoffensive but slightly subversive Christmas horror-comedy, and a straight up no holds barred violent Christmas horror. The off balance of it was quite distracting and took away from the positives: Martin Starr (even though I had a yikes moment when I realized I was essentially watching Bill Haverchuck as a middle-aged father), the elves, and the setting.

Overall I’d recommend it, it gets a lot right and it’s fun if you’re in the mood for it. Just be ready for some frustrating moments.
