There's no worse time in adolescence than junior high and this film covers so much of it with scary accuracy. Times have changed but the memories never fade, and what makes this film stand out is the female lead character who makes the viewer relate to not just her female perspective, but her perspective as a KID. It's broad reach makes it speak to everyone, young or old, male or female.
