The best and funniest comment regarding the conclusion of 'Twin Peaks: The Return was from a gentleman named Kenneth from Round Rock, Texas who posted the following on Facebook: "I know it broke a lot of One-Time-Watchers over its knee like a handful of dry twigs. I don't know which scream was louder, the collective cries of the fans dying for Cooper and Audrey to have a season 18 wedding like an episode of 'Friends', or Laura's haunting shriek upon realizing up is down, left is right, and nothing is real while hearing her mother call out from twenty five years ago." That was in response to an article from Rolling Stone calling this series "the most groundbreaking TV series ever." They couldn't be more right: there was nothing like this show 25 years ago, and there is certainly nothing like it today. And both have and will influence generations of filmmakers and storytellers for decades to come, and that is certainly something to be very excited for. So yeah, move out da' way, students, your professor has returned!
